This handcrafted bench is made from Macrocarpa timber (Cupressus macrocarpa), a cherished New Zealand favourite known for its warm golden-brown tones, fine even texture, and natural beauty reminiscent of classic Kauri.

Carefully selected timber, this piece showcases the wood's signature characteristics: rich honey-gold heartwood with subtle speckled lustre, beautiful live-edge contours, and distinctive natural grain patterns that flow organically across the seat and high curved backrest. The live edges and gentle curves celebrate the tree's original form, giving each bench a truly one-of-a-kind, organic sculptural presence—no two are ever exactly alike.

This item is handcrafted to order in our workshop in Cornwall. Please allow 1–2 weeks for production.
